Please note that - our fitness classes are now open to individuals 14 years of age and up.
For all other courses - unless otherwise specified in a course title or description, or if a course is included in the "Children & Youth" category - all EDVentures Continuing Education programs are for individuals 18 years of age and up.

Courses for the Winter 2016 are online now.


Interested in learning Microsoft Excel 2013 - this winter?

If you are interested in taking a course with our computer applications instructor Lea Mansell this winter to learn all the ins and outs of Microsoft Excel 2013 in a classroom setting - let us know.
This is a fast-paced course and not for beginners, so having some experience with Microsoft Word and personal computers (PC) is required.
If we get enough interest we will schedule a six week class starting the end of January or beginning of February one evening at Miles Macdonell Collegiate.

We are now offering a class on how to make your own Moccasins or Mukluks.

Internet Safety for Parents


Here's another new offering for winter. Learn how to safegard your children while they play on their XBox, Play Station or iPad. It's a one-evening session for parents or caregivers that will provide step-by-step instructions on how to activate and take control of internet safety measures for your children on the following devices:
- iPad-iPad mini
- Xbox 360 and Xbox One
- Play Station 3 and 4
