Subject to sufficient enrolment, the following classes will be offered:
Introduction to APPLIED and PRE-CALCULUS Mathematics
Fees: $190 per course.
Fees must be included with the completed application form.
Make cheques payable to River East Transcona School Division.
Do not send cash in the mail. There will be a charge for NSF cheques.
Eligibility: Repeater students must have completed the course with a grade above 35% as verified by a report card. Instruction cannot be provided for students who require modified or EAL programming.
Registration Deadline: 4 p.m., Friday, June 29Th.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students should register early to improve their chance of getting a preferred course. Mail or drop off applications for summer school to:

Late registrations will be accepted up to the third day of classes, i.e. July 5th, subject to availability. Applicants will be assessed a late fee of $10.
Prior to the start of summer school, teachers will phone students to confirm start time and classrooms.
Course Cancellations: River East Transcona School Division reserves the right to cancel courses for which there is insufficient enrolment. This means a course could be cancelled outright and the student will receive a full refund.
Refunds/Withdrawal Deadline: Thursday, July 5th
To receive a refund, the student must withdraw from the course by July 5th.
To apply for a refund, the student must present their receipt, along with a letter from their parent or guardian indicating the reason for withdrawing, to the summer school office located at McLeod Education Centre.
- An administrative fee of $20 will be deducted regardless of whether or not the student has attended any classes.
Parent-Teacher Meeting: Friday, July 13th
Parent-teacher meetings will be held the morning of July 13th. More details about this event will be sent home with students during the first week summer school is in session.
Report cards will be mailed to the home immediately following the conclusion of summer school. Copies of the reports will also be forwarded to the “sending” and “receiving” school.
